Dr Sen trained in pediatric cardiology at Narayana Health Kolkata (Rabindranath Tagore International Institute of Cardiac Sciences) and at the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network at Sydney, Australia.

He returned to India in 2013 as an independent Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist.  

He has been the clinical lead and was instrumental in the establishment of the pediatric cardiology department at NH SRCC Children’s Hospital since 2017.  The pediatric cardiac sciences department at NH SRCC (Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Cardiac Surgery) is one of the high volume tertiary pediatric cardiac centers in Western India.

Amongst his academic commitments, he is an Associate Editor for Annals of Pediatric Cardiology, a Reviewer for Annals of Pediatric Cardiology, Indian Pediatrics, Cardiology in the Young and World Journal of Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery.  https://journals.lww.com/AOPC/pages/editorialboard.aspx
